MMPT Plans to move ahead? July 2012 Update

Current planning concepts indicate that the Constitution Building may survive current MMPT planning efforts. During a July 11th, 2012 meeting, it was indicated that the building might be rehabilitated as part of the new development. Worth staying up-to-date on these developments, which are documented on the Georgia Department of Transportation website set up for the MMPT process. Follow this link for more.

The Georgia Department of Transportation is planning to issue a RFP and RFQ for a Master Developer for the Multimodal Passenger Terminal site in Downtown Atlanta this fall. Does this suggest that plans for demolition of the Constitution Building are moving ahead?
